To promote their new Economy-X fares, Virgin Australia are offering Qantas Frequent Flyers and Qantas Club members the ability to access Virgin Australia lounges when traveling on domestic flights on an eligible fare.

Purchase an Economy X seat on a domestic Virgin Australia flight^ for travel between 13 June 2017 and 31 August 2017


Locate the Virgin Australia domestic Lounge in the following airports; Alice Springs, Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Canberra, Darwin, Gold Coast, Mackay, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney


Present your Economy X boarding pass and Qantas Club membership card or Gold Frequent Flyer or higher membership card to our lounge staff


Relax or catch up on work in the comfort of our lounge

Terms and Conditions:

*Promotion runs from 19 June 2017 to 31 August 2017. To be eligible for this promotion, you must purchase an Economy X seat on a domestic Virgin Australia operated flight for travel between 13 June and 31 August 2017, hold a valid boarding pass for that flight and hold a valid Qantas Gold or higher Frequent Flyer membership or be a Qantas Club member. To gain entry to a Virgin Australia Lounge you need to present your Economy X boarding pass and your Qantas Gold or higher Frequent Flyer membership or Qantas Club membership card. You may only enter the lounge a maximum of 2 hours prior to departure. One accompanying guest who is also travelling in Economy X with the eligible member is permitted to enter. The lounge access is not transferable to anybody who does not meet the criteria.

Economy-X is Virgin Australia’s new “extra legroom” seats located at the front of the economy cabin, which come with an additional seat-selection fee unless you hold Virgin Australia Platinum status.
